Did I mention that it’s Free for Teachers – All Features! No Ads.

ScootPad offers a lot of features, but at it’s core is practice activities aligned with Common Core Standards. Teachers can create classroom accounts in which they can manage all aspects of their students’ accounts including password resets. The best part is ScootPad allows teachers to monitor how their students are doing on each concept in the practice activities. Scootpad offers real-time performance dashboards & proficiency tracking by standards to enable accurate and timely insights for intervention.

Once you create your FREE account you can add your class and add students very easy.  No email required!  Once you add your students you can go to the “Dashboard” to post messages on your class wall, possibly assign students’ their first topic on it.  You can view all of the “Topics” in the Curriculum section.  You can Preview the topics to see example question.  You can also remove any topics that you know you will not be covering in class.  The interface is very user friendly.  Another feature on the Dashboard is “Send Message.”  You would use this if you have something you want to send privately to one student.
